This painting portrays the pain Frida suffered when she had a miscarriage. There are six images surrounding her that represent the anguish and feelings she endured through this tragic time in her life. This painting really caught my attention. To paint such a personal tragedy in her life and such a personal thing. And to capture the pain
Here is another painting exhibiting the pain she felt when she discovered the affair between her husband and her sister. The extent of her pain was so much that she related it the victim of a brutal murder. A woman who was murdered by her lover for having an affair. It's a very capturing painting. The blood even flows onto the frame of the painting.
This painting entitled "Self Portrait - Very Ugly", shows her low self esteem. Even through her success she did not see herself as such. I find this painting of Frida to be very beautiful. I see no ugliness in her at all. Its sad that she would see herself as such. She was a very inspiring woman.

You know what's funny. I didn't get to see her "Self-portrait - Ugly" at the museum. It was so crowded that I decided to move on from the self portrait area to the mesoamerican area. I like that one though. Thanks for posting it.
I agree that she is beautiful. No ugly at all
